The choice of raw materials was paramount and we choose a piece of Balkan maple for its density and responsiveness. The top, made of premium Alpine spruce, contributes to the violin’s clarity and warmth. These aged materials, paired with a careful design of the arching create an instrument that offers both richness and projection.
This violin features a pristine, luminous varnish, an homage to the crisp, unblemished beauty of Ornati’s finest works. The golden-orange hues, subtly shifting under different lighting, highlight the wood’s natural elegance. The scroll, carved with precision, recalls the precision of the 20th century masters. The f-holes, gracefully arched and delicately fluted, further enhance this instrument’s appearance.
