The inaugural violin of our Guadagnini quintet draws inspiration from the
exceptional craftsmanship of the Piacenza period, especially the Baron Knoop
violin crafted by Guadagnini in 1744. Our approach to redesigning this historical instrument centers around a meticulous pursuit of precision and symmetry, enabling us to achieve a modern standard that preserves its enduring beauty. By conducting thorough analyses and employing careful redrawing, we aim to strike a balance between honoring the original aesthetics and meeting the demands of contemporary standards.
