This violin, inspired by Stradivari’s renowned Toscano model, reflects this master’s signature combination of elegance and acoustic brilliance. Antonio Stradivari needs no introduction and in 2020 we decided to pour our efforts into the making this violin inspired by his celebrated Toscano violin. With its refined proportions and radiant tone, it is crafted to honour tradition while providing the responsiveness and clarity sought after by modern musicians.

The back is made from beautifully flamed maple, its natural figure subtly accentuated by a warm golden-brown varnish. Light shading enhances its depth, lending the instrument a touch of character without appearing overly antiqued. The top, carved from premium spruce wood from Val di Fiemme, was carefully selected for its tonal richness and ability to project with clarity. The graceful arching and fluid curves of the Toscano model contribute to both its aesthetic beauty and powerful acoustic response.
