In 2017, we embarked on the journey to redesign the renowned 'Wurlitzer Perriere' viola from 1780. Access to extensive research on the original instrument fueled our inspiration. Our goal was to create a refined design that balanced the boldness of the original aesthetic with a delicate touch of femininity, highlighting its exceptional
tonal brilliance.
Our approach embraced both tradition and artistic expression, allowing us to infuse our own sensibilities into the final design. This harmonious fusion resonates with authenticity while reflecting a contemporary flair.
The culmination of our passion, expertise, and dedication to the art of violin making led to the creation this refined instrument that stands as a testament to our commitment to preserving its rich heritage while incorporating our own artistic touch.
