Its honey-colored varnish glows with depth, accentuating the irregular ames that sweep across the back’s beautifully gured Balkan maple. This distinctive pattern gives the violin a unique visual character, further enriched by the delicate coat of varnish accentuating the bres of the wood. The top, crafted from select Alpine spruce, provides both structural integrity and tonal depth, ensuring a balanced and resonant sound. The proportions of the Ornati model lend themselves to a uid, expressive response, making this violin a joy to play. The scroll, delicately carved, transitions seamlessly into the graceful curves of the body, while the rened f-holes maintain the elegant aesthetic characteristic of Ornati’s style. Tonally, this instrument stands out for its gentle, romantic voice. The lower register is velvety and expressive, while the upper notes shimmer with warmth and subtle brilliance. Its smooth response and lyrical quality make it an ideal companion for intimate chamber music and solo performance alike. Now residing in Portugal, this violin has already begun its musical journey. We hope it will continue to bring beauty and inspiration for generations to come.Share:
