The softness of the antique-style varnish makes it inviting to play, and the voice which can both be soft spoken as well as commanding continues to amaze us with each rendition. Gaetano Sgarabotto, born in 1878 in Vicenza, embarked on a self-taught journey, rening his craft alongside esteemed makers like Riccardo Antoniazzi and Leandro Bisiach.
